About Us

Lonepine Creek Farm is located an hour north of Calgary and 20 minutes east of Didsbury. We have been growing hardneck garlic for over twenty years and during that time have learned so much about how to successfully produce garlic in Alberta. When we first started growing garlic we only grew Red Russian, mostly because of the large easy-peeling cloves, but then started trying other varieties over the past 5+ years. We decided to start selling our garlic to the public in 2021 and by 2023 we realized that a website would be a good addition. We currently grow 800 feet of garlic, with the bulk of it being Red Russian, our long-standing favourite.
